Now as for what I see right this instant!
I agree with Glen in that it's a bit hard to 'read'. Maybe it's because the postmarks/script on the page is distracting (but I love the idea because this blogsite is about personal blog writing and the images make it feel like you've opened up someone's personal journal). Could the center area where posts will be placed be broadened a little? Or the background lightened?
I think the buttons MUST NOT go at the bottom. The top or the side makes them more user friendly. And did you get my idea about making buttons for unique sections? Meaning making it so users can navigate to a 'stories' page, 'poetry' page, 'pictoral' page and, yes, a 'Get over it and realize that people do curse' page a.k.a 'Mature content' page?
I don't know if we can do that with a simple blog but if we could it'd be great! That way you could go all graphics crazy on 5 pages!
